HUMANS
SAM WAKS
is a professional Australian waveform wrangler who has been wrangling waveforms into uncouth shapes for many years. When he’s not coaxing speakers to emit strange and dangerous sounds he can probably be found in the kitchen combining flavors that shouldn’t go together but actually do. He also likes talking to birds.
AVERY RINGLE
is a Louisiana swamp creature and seasoned expert at cutting things up and putting them back together in other ways. From soft velvety fabrics to obscure 70’s magazines she found in the trash. She also enjoys obsessively arranging random objects and baking tactile bread products.
MARIE GONCALVES DE SAMPAIO
collects sheep hair and transforms it into beautiful things that you can wear. Plants like her a lot because she is good at putting them in places they appreciate. She is also an expert at arranging plates of edible things in patterns that are pleasing to the eye and turning wild berries into intoxicating beverages.
WALTER JANSON
is very good at making people dance by pressing lots of buttons really fast in an unexpected fashion. He has a keen eye for pointing lights at objects to make them look more attractive and can manouevre large vehicules into awkward spaces better than anyone else at La Briche. He also enjoys confusing children with made up games and complex enigmas.
DINO COSKUN
makes different instruments sound good together by carefully adjusting their volumes. The Paris Opera paid him handsomely to do this, but he left them and joined our cult because we are more fun. He also has an impressive collection of exotic string instruments which he plays expertly. He also has a father who is famous for using chainsaws in creative ways.
ADRIAN GALAK
is a militant leftwing anarchist who knows exactly how to stack the right sized pieces of wood together to start a fire. He has deep knowledge about the socio-political dimensions of music and enjoys sharing it by rambling into a microphone and diffusing the banter onto the internet.
DEREK
knows all about electron flows and how to make them do good things for us by picking the right size wires and connecting them together. He also has a large collection of tiny modular noise machines and plays very dark music at high speeds for people who like that sort of thing.
PLANTS
BLACKTHORN
is home to the lunatishee a tribe of mischevious fairies. She has long sharp thorns and can be used to make heavy sticks for hitting intruders with. Her berries are enjoyed by all La Briche denizens in various forms but are particularly appreciated when soaked in cheap gin.
ROSE
Is the best looking member of the La Briche ecosystem and also smells very good. She makes a nice home for little green spiders and in autumn her flowers mutate into tasty round pods that are very good for keeping humans healthy.
ANIMALS
THE BLACK CATS
are a mysterious tribe of feline warrior priestesses. No one knows how many of them live here but they are definately in charge of La Briche. They enjoy stalking, napping and crunching on fresh mice.
SPINOZA & CLEOPATRA
are connossieurs of fine grass. They ensure the fields of La Briche remain verdant and lush with precisely calibrated poop engineering. They love apples, stale baguettes and scaring tiny dogs. Spinoza also has the largest penis of all the boys at La Briche.
