MAISON PINPIN

Maison Pinpin is a 3 story house with 7 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 3 salons, 2 kitchens and a partridge in a pear tree. It has lots of cool furniture from many different eras and plenty of pretty pictures on the walls. The staircase leans at an odd angle and creaks like an ancient schooner. Theres’ more than enough room for ten people who hate each other to coexist comfortably or you can squeeze in a much higher density of starving artists; our current record is 23 but we invite you to break it! Staying here is like summer camp at your spooky grandmother’s house, but we promise all the ghosts are friendly. There is also a hidden basement where the corpses of messy house guests most definitely do not end up.

HISTORY

This stately home was built to house one Joseph - Amédée Pinpin, the manager of the 19th century industrial farm that we exist inside of. We know very little about him except that he published early research on the use of chemical fertilisers ( Enquête sur les engrais chimiques in the Annales de la Société d'agriculture, sciences, arts et belles-lettres d'Indre-et-Loire,‎ avril 1869) and was most likely not a very nice person.
